Proverbs 31:30

So often Mom's feel "unworthy" on Mother's Day. They always feel like they could have do
ne a better job.

What God honors in a women is something that every woman can do. Every women can fear the Lord - above all. Fear the Lord is a reference to need Him and being reverent to Him.

In the scripture the reference to "charm" in Hebrew means to favor. To always know the right thing to say or do, or to appear to have it all together. Erma Bombeck referred to this kind of mother as, "Everyone else's mother."

This kind of mom doesn't impress God. It is not real. The mom's who appear to have it all together are putting up a facade.

The "beauty" that is described is referring to an image or physical appearance. It is about being vain which is empty. God is looking for something deeper-that is what mom's are made of.

A women who fears the Lord - that is what God honors in moms. She shall be praised! That is the women that God wants you to be. Let God's word encourage you.

In an interview with Ann Graham Lotz, she was asked what made her mom so great. She said it was her mom's relationship with Jesus Christ.
