John 8:31-38
During WWII the allied forces beat a monster. 30,000 Americans died and over 200,000 were injured. The cost of freedom is high. Today wars are not about conquering they are about freedom. If we have freedom why do we have to lock our doors, arm our cars and houses? Are we really free? Is there another place we have to conquer to set man's heart right?2 Myths and 1 Truth
Myth #1 - Freedom is freedom to do whatever you want to do
This is called chaos. No society has survived this type of freedom. Freedom is really the freedom to be what God wants us to be-who we were created to be. It is freedom to live honorable and to live out the purposes of your life.
You are not free unless you are free in Him.
Myth #2 - Freedom is about where you live
No way! Americans tend to think this because we live in American and we are free. We are not free solely because of where we live. We had nothing to do with being born here. You can come here or be just be here and never find freedom.
Truth - The Only Way to be Free is to Know Christ
Have a relationship with Him-walk with Him in your life. It will give you the freedom to be a better person, husband, wife, son, daughter, parent, etc. Only when Jesus conquers your soul will you be free.
