"He Knows Me"
Psalm 139:1-6

1. Our Relationships
Your identity can not be determined by someone else. It is not about who you know or who you hang out with.

2. Our Work or Activities
Your identity is not determined by what you do. You are not what you do. If your work ends who are you?

3. Our Stuff
You can not find your identity from metal, brick and mortar, wood, or plastics.

4. Our Physical Appearance
Our views are distorted by the whispers of the world. We look in the mirror and see the lies of the world in our reflection. You change everyday-just look at your Parents! You won't be young forever and you will look more like them.

Don't tie your identity to something that is going to move. Anchor your identity to where you came from - God! You must look at your life through the lens of God's book. Life will never make sense until God is the subject of your sentence.

List of Verbs that God is telling us:

1. God knows me
He dug through your life. he knows your name and everything about you.

2. God knows everything we do
He knows when we sit and stand and everything in between. You are the object and God is the subject. You don't see what you are not looking for - He is always looking for you.

3. God knows everything you think
He understands you. God will never misunderstand you. He knows before you think, before you feel it. There is never a moment where He doesn't know what you feel.

4. God knows your ways
These are your habits, tendencies, quirks, etc. He knows what we are going to do. He knows our past and what habits we want to break.

5. God knows what we say
Since He knows anyway get honest with him. He hears you.

6. God knows where you are
His hand is upon you to bless you, guide you, and remind us about Him. Situations when you are lost or just a face in the crowd He knew and He was there with you.

The Result - God knows everything there is to know about us. He is the creator that made us for his purpose.
