"Search Me" - April 27, 2008
Psalm 139:23-24
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
24 And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting!
- What happens when God finds something in you?
- There is nothing you can do to fix yourself.
- You can try to do better, try harder but it is at the cross!
- You can't forgive yourself.
- If God shows us something what do you do? Stand Aware!
- God canceled the debt by nailing our sin to the cross.
- Remember what he did.
- He removes our sin as far as the East is from the West and remembers it no more.
- When you have been cleansed you are ready to go--ready to serve!
- May you follow the dust of your rabbi - OR -
May you follow so closely the dust of His shoes covers you.
- Follow the Lord.
May 1, 2008 is National Day of Prayer.
